I was watching "Extraordinary People" the other day and this was one of the episodes I ended up seeing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTKo1YkciS8 (it has three parts).
This thirteen year old girl is SO inspirational! She is a fighter who, no matter the pain or difficulties, survived to receive treatment for her disability and was ultimately able to give God the glory for seeing her through all the trials she experienced.
Though the callous people in her neighborhood called her a "monster", her loved ones saw her through. They never stopped loving her. And neither did Jesus. He held her hand in the "valley of the shadow of death", and "delivered her from evil". For this, she was able to praise Him for saving her life.
What a beautiful person she is.
wow, this is so cool michele. i really love that the girl's family loved her through the trial. it's so easy to give up hope in moments like that.
