Jane Austen Styled Shoot/Party

I finally found the time to edit all the pictures from my Jane Austen Party in early August! It was such a memorable time to be able to enjoy the old fashioned delicacies and activities that people in the late 1700s would have enjoyed. Here are some of my favorite captures. :)
~~~~~
The evening before we dressed up to reenact the times, we first enjoyed the water and some water sports together.
Getting ready the night before with the glorious evening light coming in....
Fresh lemonade and a game of croquet followed a light breakfast...
Tea time!
After our scrumptious tea, we went to the gazebo to read chat and read poetry...
Next, my sweet aunt taught us to cross stitch!
Finally, we went to the main house to hear my sister play piano pieces from the soundtrack of the movie, Pride and Prejudice (Kiera Knightly version), and then to eat an authentic, but homemade dinner by my mom and dessert to follow, made my me.
Huge thanks to my mom, who dreamed up this idea with me and made it happen! Also, to my aunt, who helped facilitate all the events and activities throughout the day, and to my grandmother, especially, for hosting the event in her home. Finally, thank you, guests, for coming and enjoying such a fun weekend with me! :)
