Catching falling leaves...

Migrating birds....changing of the color of the trees.....the slow descent of the leaves....isn't God so consistent?

He never fails to bring in each season so gracefully, and for our pleasure and delight. I'm constantly reminded of the blessings God has given us....even in His creation so that we may see His glory through it. :)

Sometimes, I feel like I can't do anything right, like I keep messing up and that I'll never change.

Thankfully though, God is guiding my footsteps, He'll help me to trust His promises to finish the work He's begun in me. I'm not perfect, but He is. I constantly slip and fall, but He'll pick me right back up.

He watches over all of creation with care and love, but He will NOT forget me when I fail to obey or to listen to Him.

Isaiah 40:28-29 says, "Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak."

Just a sweet reminder for you to ponder.

  1. Love this post Michele! I so often forget that God never changes - His love for us never changes. I recently read the verse in Philippians (?) . "I am confident that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion in the day of Jesus Christ." It reminds me of God's faithfulness!

  2. Thanks for posting this, Michele! I am glad that even when I mess up, God does not stop loving me. This reminds me of Sunday's message - God views us as holy not because of our righteousness, but because He declares us His children through Christ. Your post is a good reminder that God never forsakes us, and that we can call upon Him when we are weak, knowing that He is strong.

  3. awesome post michelle! I love fall and the changing seasons... God is so all powerful, he made everything with a purpose, from the birds instincts and leaves changing color to the way the earth spins, orbiting perfectly. God made it all perfect
