Poppies and Wildflowers

So the other day, we were driving home from running some errands and I saw this big cluster of brightly colored poppies and wildflowers. I gasped! I knew we HAD to go straight home get my camera and come STRAIGHT BACK! The view was amazing. Thanks mom for running me over! We did just that and I got some awesome shots! It was majestic. Art on a Sunny Day

This crayon art thing has been a fad that practically everyone knows about. It's a pretty neat project, but it's getting a bit overdone. Sooo, I had an idea a while back to make the dripping, colored crayon wax the rain and have an umbrella underneath. I wasn't sure when or how I could execute this, but (lucky for me) Jojo and her sister Sarah Bartley came over and we did this project together. :) Jojo and I did most of it together, but Sarah was definitely a BIG help as she instructed us on how to draw in the details (clouds and umbrella). 

Watching it melt I thought to myself "Perfect picture opportunity!" ;)

Transformation

Hello subscribers and other random readers. :)

This blog is about to be transformed into my official photography blog! Flickr has decided to delete old pictures that are older than the most recent 200 pictures I have uploaded so I decided I needed to find a better place to post my photography. What better place is there than here?

So, I'll try to keep you all updated on the fascinating and interesting things I encounter throughout the summer by posting pictures of my adventures. ;)

Sunshiny day

Its one of those days...a summery day. Gotta love those. Sitting in your room with the window open, listening to pop radio and gettin stuff done. eating healthy, exercising... and dont you pretend you dont talk out loud into your fan to hear how funny your voice sounds. all day long yo. Anyways, this weather is inspiring and getting me excited to be healthyyy. I haven't had any gluten or sugary stuff (other than frozen yogurt which I decided would be my weekly sweet treat) for 3 days straight! I am sensitive to both those things so it's really good that I'm finally staying away from them and not succumbing to temptation :P I almost did earlier today... a chocolate cake was sitting out right next to chocolate chip cookies and a chocolate bar (usually we dont have these many sweets in our house, believe me!) and I just looked at it and wanted to eat it sooooo badly, but I grabbed a cucumber instead. and then some carrots....and then I made a salad for myself cause I was really hungry. :P

All that to say, I'm feelin good, feeling like this is a start to living a healthier lifestyle. :)
